Warriors of the Shadow Realm are facing their own demise, becoming lost in the shadows that were once their salvation. The Shadow Lord, hoping to stave off their destruction, sends Blade, one of his fiercest warriors, to protect a woman who holds one of the keys to their survival.
Jac Harris is an accountant, not a risk taker, preferring to live her life quietly. That all changes when she is sent on an accounting job by mistake and stumbles onto a crime ring. Now the bad guys are chasing her and she doesn't know where to run.
A mysterious man shows up at her family's beach house swearing to protect her at all costs. But Jac doesn't quite know what to believe. With an arsenal of knives strapped to his body, and clothed from head to toe in black leather, he resembles the assassin she fears he is. Blade becomes her protector and lover in this deadly game, but it's up to her to save him from the shadows that haunt him.

She's a doll and gradually getting the hang of the housebreaking thing, but having a puppy is no different than having a baby! And she cries just like one the second Mommy isn't with her!
Anyway, howdy and welcome to another Slip Between the Sheets! With us today we have the sexy warrior Blade. Blade is from NJ Walters' Beyond Shadows, which releases very soon from Ellora's Cave. No cover yet, but damn does this ebook sound great!

So Blade, let's kick things off with my favorite question! The one all girls want answered. Boxers or briefs?
Blade: *sexy laugh* I don't wear either. Never have.
Alyssa: Now that's a fashion statement I can appreciate! Easy access! Okay, Blade, now I gotta know. What do you sleep in? Visual please!
Blade: Why do you want to know? You thinking about joining me. *grins* Seriously though, I've never seen the need to sleep in anything…other than a bed.
Alyssa: Ehem. Look in the mirror, Blade. Of course I'm thinking about joining you. Now more than ever! So can I? Or have you found that someone special yet? And just so I know where I stand, what attracts you to a woman?
Blade: *slow smile crosses his face* That would be Jacqueline, or Jac as she prefers to be called. Although why she prefers to shorten her name to make it sound more like a man's I'll never know.
I'm attracted to a tall, slender woman with smoky gray eyes and full, sexy lips that just begged to be kissed. A woman who is loyal and courageous and isn't afraid to take what she wants.
Alyssa: Damn. Damn, damn, damn. Seducing you is hopeless then. Not only are you taken, I'm anything but tall and slender LOL. I love my Italian loaded with cheese and have the curves to prove it. Speaking of food, can you cook? Better yet, bake?
Blade: Not very well. My skills are very basic, and over three thousand years old. You could say I'm a little rusty. Living in the Shadow Realm, I had no need for food or drink. It's only when I cross over to the human plane that I need food to sustain me. I do love to eat when I'm here though. There are so many food choices, it's incredible.
I'm damn good with a knife and that definitely comes in handy in the kitchen.
Alyssa: No need to eat? Hmmm, I'd be skinny but go crazy, LOL! Enough talk about food—I'm getting hungry! So Blade, what's your favorite sex position?
Blade: Now that would be telling, wouldn't it? *slow grin*
I like sex hard and fast, slow and gentle and everywhere in between. Against a wall, on a table, in a bed, outside, inside, doesn't matter to me. I'm adaptable.
Alyssa: Adaptable, huh? Can you adapt your tastes to short and curvy? I'm officially hungry and horny. Hehe! I know, I know...you're taken. So Mr. Sexy-But-Can't Have-You, what about special talents? Do you have any?
Blade: Like I said, I'm good with a blade, any blade. I've been collecting them for years and have prime examples from every culture and time period in the history of mankind. I also make my own throwing knives.
Alyssa: That's awesome. So obviously you've been around a long time. I'm sure it hasn't all been easy living. The devil aside, who's your worst enemy?
Blade: The worst enemy anyone can have is apathy. That is what is destroying the Shadow Ryders and the Shadow Realm, but that is slowly changing.
Alyssa: Very sad. I hope Jac helps you to overcome that. Okay Blade, last question. What's your biggest regret?
Blade: I don't believe in regrets. All we have is the moment we're living in. Life is precious. Too precious to waste on regrets.
Alyssa: Great, then you won't regret this interview! LOL. It was awesome talking with you Blade and I can't wait to read your story!
